Picking The Right Marketing Team

One of the most important parts of your business

Picking the right marketing team can be frustrating, confusing and downright difficult. As The world changes and buyers are led into different areas, you need a team that understands your goals.

Digital marketing is no longer an afterthought. Digital is a critical part of almost every company’s marketing strategy regardless of industry. The question businesses are now struggling with is where to capitalize. As we have said many times organic isn’t dead. If anything it’s the long-term benefits you will have, without spending a fortune.

A website, fixing listings, reputation management, blogs, properly build social platforms for your target market. You need all of this to just become modern. Do you spend money on AdWords but send potential customers to an inoperable website? That can eat up a huge amount of money.

We suggest you look at the basics above. Interview many marketing companies and see what they can do. See if they listen to your needs, your businesses needs. This is huge because they are going to be partners in your business. As your company grows, they should grow as well. Or at least they should have that mentality.

DIY (Do-It-Yourself)

Many businesses are ingrained with the DIY ethic which refers to self-sufficiency through completing tasks without the aid of paid specialists. I can certainly attest to the fact an individual can, with enough time and learning seek out the knowledge required to complete any given task.

The challenge with this mode of operation is the many different creative elements, such as writing, social, graphic design, computer programming that are needed to successfully carry out a modern marketing strategy. The learning curve for a busy entrepreneur with little experience is tough. Leaving the business owner with either a vastly incomplete marketing strategy missing key elements, such as blogging, social media marketing or a site filled with ugly graphics or both.
